Our story
We are a small boutique cut flower farm located in rural Kernersville, North Carolina. We offer bouquets, bouquet subscriptions, DIY buckets, photography sessions, on-farm scheduled/private events, and botanical themed retail. We have created many artful spaces here on the farm for picture memories and special occasions including our design workshop, covered outdoor space, and Victorian greenhouse.
For the last two decades, I have lived on a small rural plot of less than an acre, surrounded by 100-year-old farms. Gardening had always given me balance to my professional career in Administration. Shortly after my 60th birthday, I purchased Floret Farm's book Cut Flower Garden and was inspired by the concept of growing cut flowers as a career. I never dreamed I would be expanding my love of gardening to start a boutique flower farm. I made the leap and took their comprehensive course in 2019, and since then we have expanded to increase our property to almost two acres.
Community of flower lovers
Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant community by providing locally grown, chemical-free cut flowers and fostering partnerships with neighboring businesses. In a market where 80% of flowers are imported, often grown with unknown conditions and questionable practices, we take pride in being champions of the locally grown movement in the U.S. Our blooms are meticulously tended, handpicked at their peak, and boast a unique array of colors and varieties. They travel minimal miles, going straight from our garden to your home or business without the need for international flights or refrigerated trucks.
You get the benefit of the beauty of cut flowers, gain insights into our growing techniques, and enjoy the variety and long vase life you can only get with locally grown. And by choosing locally grown, you support our native pollinators. I truly could not be more excited for the future of this little flower farm, and we thank everyone who has supported us since I began this journey in 2019.
